Fellowship Xcenda Health Outcomes and Market Access Fellowship Overview This 2-year, degree-granting Fellowship involves spearheading projects in diverse disease areas while interacting with many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies including other stakeholders (payers, providers, and patients). Throughout the Fellowship, located in Tampa, Florida, Xcenda professionals will mentor the Fellow in multiple projects focused on areas such as (but not limited to) health outcomes, market research, brand/market access strategy, reimbursement strategy, and provider reimbursement education. In addition to this mentorship, Fellows will have 1:1 meetings with members of Xcenda’s and AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group’s senior leadership team. At the conclusion of the Fellowship, participants will possess the skills and knowledge essential for success in a consulting firm, pharmaceutical company, managed care organization, or academia. They will also obtain a Master of Science in Pharmacy degree with an emphasis on pharmacoeconomics from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. While all fellows will be provided with an experience that encompasses all areas shown below, each fellow will identify an area of emphasis in Global Health Economics, Market Access, or Oncology. Xcenda’s Fellowship program is intended for qualified PharmD candidates. Screening interviews for the program take place at ASHP Midyear. Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to attend ASHP Midyear and participate in the Personnel Placement Service (PPS).
