Xcenda, Lash Consulting and Managed Care Network join forces to expand and extend strategic consultancy to the pharmaceutical industry.

Palm Harbor, FL – Xcenda, a manufacturer-focused consulting company providing customized solutions for facilitating patient access to pharmaceutical and biotechnology products, is expanding its influence and presence within the health care industry. AmerisourceBergen, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical services companies and the parent company of Xcenda, announced a restructuring within its Specialty Group. This action was taken with the stated objective of “putting greater focus on leveraging our combined expertise and customer relationships,” according to sources within the company. A key element in this crucial corporate initiative is the realignment of companies and resources under the Xcenda corporate banner. Other AmerisourceBergen entities involved in the creation of the new Xcenda are Lash Consulting, formerly the consulting arm of The Lash Group, and Managed Care Network.  The new Xcenda and the Lash Group will continue to work hand-in-hand to meet the reimbursement, patient assistance, and market access consulting needs of our manufacturer customers.

A primary consideration in this realignment is combining Xcenda’s well-earned reputation as strategic consultants with Lash Consulting’s industry-leading expertise in developing comprehensive solutions for pharmaceutical reimbursement strategies. The move enables Xcenda to provide a broader scope of services and solutions to both existing clients and potential new clients. Additionally, Managed Care Network’s proficiency in establishing collaborative dialogues between managed care companies and the health industry adds still another layer of problem-solving capabilities to the corporate mix. As a result of this repositioning, Xcenda emerges as a true world-class consultancy presenting innovative solutions and integrated services that help clients and products achieve clear market identification, differentiation, and patient access.

Xcenda operates four business units, each building upon the existing core competencies and expertise of the new company. Those units are: Managed Markets Insights & Tools; Provider Reimbursement Services; Applied Health Outcomes; and Reimbursement Strategy & Solutions. The realignment is effective immediately, and was announced on October 1st, 2007.
