Seventy-five leading employers in the Tampa Bay region were nominated by their employees for the Top Work Places 2012, a program created by the Tampa Bay Times and WorkplaceDynamics. After evaluating leadership, compensation and training, workplace flexibility, and diversity, Xcenda ranked #22 within the small employer category (50-149 employees).

Although only the 63 employees who work in the Tampa office were eligible to participate in the Top Work Places survey, according to Susan Maue, Vice President of Operations, their comments, which included "feeling like their contributions are acknowledged and appreciated," are echoed by the majority of Xcenda’s more than 240 associates who work in other locations.

“I am grateful to our associates for nominating us. This honor will help Xcenda attract the best associates and ensure that we remain a best-in-class organization committed to helping patients across the globe,” said Dr. Maue.

“What’s unique about this report is that it explains how these Tampa Bay companies are creating engaged work forces and productive work environments, even in tough times,” said Neil Brown, Times editor and vice president. “We give readers an inside look into these companies and they hear the stories directly from employees.”

The rankings were published on, in the April 29 edition of the Tampa Bay Times and on April 30 in tbt*.
