Summary of Expertise

Dylan Mezzio, PharmD, MS, is a Manager with the Economic Modeling team in Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Scientific Consulting at Xcenda. His role at Xcenda spans across many services and types of projects, including the development of economic models, outcomes analyzers, systematic literature reviews, and observational studies. Dr. Mezzio works across multiple disease states providing market insights and health outcomes strategy consulting.

Prior to joining Xcenda, Dr. Mezzio gained experience in formulary management and pharmacoeconomics in both private and public health plan settings. Since 2011, he has been an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR). He has held several leadership positions within different pharmacy organizations and reinitiated a local ISPOR chapter as President. Dr. Mezzio has presented clinical and health economic research at national and international conferences and co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on a national database study related to diabetes.

Dr. Mezzio earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Touro University California. He completed a 2-year Health Outcomes and Market Access fellowship at Xcenda and graduated in 2017 from the University of Florida with a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, with an emphasis in Applied Pharmacoeconomics.
