Summary of Expertise

Jay Jackson, PharmD, MPH, is Sr. Vice President of Consulting Services at Xcenda. He leads teams from both Scientific and Commercial Consulting, who work with manufacturer clients to meet market access goals and maximize patient access to therapies.

During his tenure at Xcenda, Dr. Jackson has partnered with manufacturers to design, develop, and implement well over 300 health economic and outcomes research studies. His contributions have also been instrumental to the strategic guidance of evidence generation tactics and the development of numerous interactive customer tools and market access strategies. Dr. Jackson’s experience ranges across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular, respiratory, rheumatology, psychiatry and specialty pharmaceuticals/orphan diseases. Dr. Jackson has been an invited speaker at national conferences and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles.

Dr. Jackson received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy in 1999. His postdoctoral training includes the completion of an Outcomes Research Fellowship at Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy and Applied Health Outcomes. Dr. Jackson also received a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida College of Public Health. He currently serves as adjunct faculty for University of South Florida College of Public Health.
