Summary of Expertise

Nisreen Shamseddine, PharmD is a Health Outcomes and Market Access Fellow with Xcenda’s Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (GHEOR) team. Her role with Xcenda span across a variety of work types, including digital health technology research, value proposition development, dossier writing, outcomes analyzer content development, and health outcomes strategy. Dr. Shamseddine uses her clinical knowledge and pairs it with her business inclination to demonstrate value in all aspects of GHEOR.

Prior to joining Xcenda, Dr. Shamseddine gained experience in health economics and outcomes research through multiple internships with pharmaceutical and consulting companies. Dr. Shamseddine was a consultant for a managed care company prior to joining Xcenda, where she helped create clinical content for a payer decision tool. This tool has been used by various payers to better clinically manage and decrease costs for both payers and patients involved in pain management. She has been a Chairperson for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), and continues to be an active member of AMCP as well as the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).

Dr. Shamseddine earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University. She has completed graduate coursework in Pharmacology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Shamseddine also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the Florida State University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Applied Pharmacoeconomics at the University of Florida.
