Amanda Bashant

Amanda Bashant is a Senior Director and leads strategic reimbursement assessments, conducts analyses, and develops strategies to facilitate access to healthcare technologies with a focus on devices and diagnostics. Overseeing Xcenda’s coding strategies and provider analytics, Ms. Bashant has expertise that ranges from developing coding and reimbursement strategies for new products to analyzing patient assistance program models. She has provided billing and collection services for a variety of sites of care as well as reimbursement consulting for durable medical equipment and drug therapies for a variety of indications. 

Her areas of particular therapeutic expertise include oncology, wound care, organ transplants, mental health / substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular, rheumatology, immunology, gastroenterology, respiratory, orthopedics, pathology, and anesthesiology. She has supported the commercialization of cytotechnologies and cytogenetic studies as well as pathology and laboratory procedures.

Before joining Xcenda, Ms. Bashant worked for 7 years in health insurance billing and collections for a 300-bed hospital, mental health clinic, and diagnostic center. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University.
