The types of programs, publications and support materials from Mrs. Gilbert's team focus on reimbursement, billing, payer relations/contracting, healthcare trends, market strategy, and health policy. Mrs. Gilbert is currently developing content for various industry websites, serves on the editorial board for AmerisourceBergen's Health Policy Weekly publication.
With 20 years of experience, including time as an editor for numerous health care publications, Mrs. Gilbert is a highly sought after national speaker and active medical writer. Her works focus on, but are not limited to, private payer contracting, pay for performance, healthcare policy, operational efficiencies in the physician office, billing and coding as well as reimbursement programs for fellows and residents. The audiences for her works include physicians, practice managers, billing staff, chief executive officers and executive committees within physician practices.
Mrs. Gilbert's consulting experience includes infusion therapy, product launch strategy, and managed market value messaging. Mrs. Gilbert has also led strategic marketing campaigns for physician groups, hospital based services, and medical device manufacturers. Mrs. Gilbert is a member of Medical Group Managers Association and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism.
