Ms. Black is a Director and leads the Payer Market Trends consulting team. In this role she is responsible for brand and portfolio-specific research on payer trends and product-specific coverage, payment, and policy information. Her team's research supports the development of targeted strategies and tactical plans that help clients maximize patient access.
She has extensive previous experience within AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group intervening with clients and payers regarding reimbursement issues, developing proposals, presentations, and reimbursement updates to support new business development, and leading consulting projects and practice management workshops to help physicians efficiently manage their businesses. Ms. Black also directed the daily operations of one of Lash Group's largest patient assistance and reimbursement support programs for a high-cost psychiatric medication, provided oversight for a reimbursement support program for an infused treatment for congestive heart failure, led a reimbursement support program for a vision screening device, and managed a foundation patient assistance program for cystic fibrosis.
Before joining AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, she worked with bilingual children in academic and volunteer settings, taught Spanish in public middle school, and piloted a program for teaching English as a Second Language. Ms. Black received a B.S. from Georgetown University.
