Ken O’Day, PhD, MPA is an Associate Director and in this role his primary focus lies within the area of economic modeling. He has developed economic models in a variety of disease states, including ophthalmology, cardiovascular disease, oncology, multiple sclerosis, and arthritis. These include user-friendly Excel budget impact models, Markov cohort models (with probabilistic sensitivity analysis), microsimulation models, disease burden models, and pricing and revenue forecast models.
Prior to joining Xcenda, Dr. O’Day was the Associate Director at the Arizona Health Policy and Law Institute where he led projects addressing health disparities in the state of Arizona. He has also conducted outcomes research and program evaluation in the mental health field at the Applied Behavioral Health Policy Division at the University of Arizona. Dr. O'Day received his PhD in Philosophy and a Masters in Public Administration (with a specialty in healthcare policy) from the University of Arizona, where he also completed post-graduate training in health outcomes and pharmacoeconomics at the College of Pharmacy.
