How is our approach to market research different?
We constantly monitor the oncology marketplace (provider and payer), identify and track trends, and help our clients adjust their strategies. Xcenda researches simulated patient cases and asks questions that run the gamut of treatment challenges for any disease state (eg, early- through late-stage lung cancer). We also poll online respondents on issues affecting their overall behaviors, such as financial implications, diagnostic options, comorbidities, and perceptions on optimal treatment outcomes.
Xcenda has the ability to cross-tabulate questions in one area and identify correlations to treatment choices in a completely different area. For example, we can easily identify if a physician’s choice of biologic therapy in one case correlates with a choice of chemotherapy in another case, or whether a choice of front-line therapy is related to choices of therapy in later lines.
All of this can be accomplished without explicit, detailed questioning (thereby reducing burden) and can be viewed as a more true or accurate representation of current top-of-mind decision-making.
