Susan Maue

Susan Maue, PhD, is Vice President of Operations and responsible for a team dedicated to the efficient and effective development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that deliver Xcenda’s vast array of services. Dr. Maue's team provides support related to contracting and compliance, project management, meeting logistics, facilities management, graphics, copyediting, and software development.  Dr. Maue and her team provide the sound systems infrastructure that helps every Xcenda associate deliver the best level of customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality services and deliverables that meet or exceed each client’s expectations.

Dr. Maue has more than 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical consulting industry and, prior to assuming the position of VP of Operations, worked directly with pharmaceutical customers on many health economics and outcomes research engagements. In addition to experience within the cardiovascular and behavioral health therapeutic areas, Dr. Maue's consulting expertise includes economic modeling, the design of retrospective database studies, quality improvement program design and implementation, and medical publications. As a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, Dr. Maue has been an invited speaker at numerous scientific conferences, conducted poster presentations at a variety of meetings, and published articles focused on quality improvement and guideline compliance.

Dr. Maue received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from North Carolina State University in 1994. She then turned her quality improvement focus from Industrial Engineering toward healthcare and received a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy Health Care Administration from the University of Florida in 1998.
