Xcenda Announces Leadership Transition
November 1, 2017
Xcenda, a leading global healthcare services consultancy and part of AmerisourceBergen, is excited to announce the appointment of a new leader. Kristine M. Flemister, PharmD, has been named to the position of President, Xcenda, effective November 1, 2017. In this position, she will have full strategic and operational responsibility for the business—leading the organization in further global expansion and continued growth around its strong company culture and customized, client-centric philosophy. Dr. Flemister succeeds Tommy Bramley, PhD, who has recently assumed the role of President, Lash Group & Premier Source, part of AmerisourceBergen.
Flemister is no stranger to Xcenda. As a founding member, she comes to this position with a wealth of experience in health economics and market access expertise, along with long-standing client relationships. She has spent the last 22 years of her career dedicated to growing Xcenda into an organization focused on helping manufacturers demonstrate their best value story and maximize patient access to life-changing therapies. Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Operations at Xcenda, she led a team responsible for building infrastructure and delivering systems that enable Xcenda associates to provide a best-in-class customer experience. These innovative improvements further enhanced the high-quality services and deliverables that have exceeded client expectations.
“Kristine brings to the table a deep understanding of our customers’ challenges in navigating the growing complexities of the healthcare landscape. Her knowledge of the industry, coupled with her extensive strategic consulting experience and a drive for operational excellence will continue to propel Xcenda’s success.” said Amy Grogg, PharmD, Senior Vice President, Strategy & Commercialization, AmerisourceBergen.
Of key importance to Xcenda’s success is the breadth and depth of experience of their associates, and the collaborative, customized approach they take with each and every client. Since its start in 1995, Flemister saw the importance in choosing the right people and focusing on company culture, and set out to ensure that, regardless of global growth and strategic expansion, Xcenda would stay true to its core values and guiding principles.
“I truly believe the organizational foundation we set 20+ years ago—with an intentional focus on company culture, our people, and an exceptional customer experience—has allowed us to grow into the successful and innovative commercialization company we are today where pharmaceutical manufacturers count on us for strategic guidance to achieve brand goals in support of patient health worldwide. I am thrilled and honored to be leading this organization in helping clients prove the value of their products and maximize access to exciting new therapies for patients,” Flemister states.
Beyond her focus on the industry and her clients, Flemister is also a passionate advocate of associate diversity, and commits time to help foster an accepting corporate environment. She currently serves as Executive Co-Sponsor of the AmerisourceBergen LGBTAllies employee resource group and also participates on the governance committee for AmerisourceBergen’s Women’s Impact Network.
