I conduct and oversee oncology-related HEOR engagements at Xcenda, including development and review of U.S. and global value dossiers, formulary kits, advisory boards, and training initiatives. I also contribute to the development of value propositions, compendia analyses, and budget impact models, as well as articles for scientific publication.
My experience ranges across multiple oncology areas including hematology, stem cell transplant, supportive care and non-malignant hematology. Prior to Xcenda, I was the Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist and Pharmacy Clinical Finance Coordinator at Jackson Memorial Hospital, in affiliation with the University of Miami. There, I participated in medical team rounds, development of institutional guidelines and clinical pathways, created chemotherapy protocols, and coordinated reimbursement and patient access strategies. I was also a preceptor for oncology pharmacy clerkships and a member of the Cancer Subcommittee and the Protocol Review Committee.
I received my Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy, and completed my general pharmacy residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2003 and my oncology pharmacy residency at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2004. I completed my Master in Business Administration with a Specialization in Health Administration and Policy at the University of Miami. I am also dually certified as a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist since 2005 and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2006. I am a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA), and International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS).
