Kristine Flemister, PharmD
I am privileged to lead Xcenda’s nearly 500 global associates in our mission to deliver the strategic consulting guidance, actionable market insights, and tactical support services that manufacturers require to prove product value, optimize product launches and ensure patients will gain access to the innovative therapies they need most.
Over two decades ago as a founding member of Xcenda, I recognized the impact of applying health economic evidence to clearly prove a therapy’s worth and demonstrate its value. It’s exciting to see how Xcenda has become the leader in the discussion on the evolving concept of value in healthcare today. And further, how establishing a world-class culture has fostered such a unique and collaborative environment that has allowed us to grow and succeed. It is an environment that inspires me every day and allows our associates to be their best through trust, respect, diversity and compassion.
Throughout my more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical consulting industry, my primary emphasis has been as a consultant for operations and compliance, health economic and outcomes research strategy, formulary decision support tools, and new business development. I’ve had well over 150 strategic and research consulting engagements for numerous major pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms—particularly in the areas of mental health, cardiovascular, oncology, and geriatrics. And my work has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals throughout my career.
I am a member of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). Additionally, I am co-sponsor of the AmerisourceBergen LGBTAllies employee resource group and also serve on the governance committee for our Women’s Impact Network.
My Postdoctoral training includes completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency, and I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy, Atlanta, Georgia.
